Dwight Yoakam Exits from the “Lone Ranger”

I didn’t even know there was a “Lone Ranger” movie being made, let alone the fact that Dwight Yoakam was going to be in it!

Whatever the case, Dwight will not be in it after all. He was planned to be playing a villain in the movie, but due to scheduling conflicts, he had to withdraw from the project.

Who will be in the movie, you ask?

Johnny Depp will serve as Tonto, and Armie Hammer will be the Lone Ranger. I’m not sure who Armie is……will have to google him, shortly.

Point to be made, though — Dwight will be teaming up once again with his “Sling Blade” costar Billy Bob Thornton; for a movie about World War II Veterans.

That should be something to look forward to!

 

Joe Nichols to be a Dad again!

Joe Nichols and his wife are expecting their first child together.

The singer told People that he and his wife Heather will have their first child in the spring.

“After trying to have a baby for so long, we are thrilled to announce that I am pregnant,” Heather told People.

“I have to give all the credit to my wife – she has been a trooper through all of this, and I am so happy,” Nichols said.

The couple married in September 2007 in Georgia and knew each other since he performed at her father’s Texas night club at 19. Nichols has a daughter from a previous relationship.
